How To Find the Market

Our Makers Spring Market is taking place in the Battery House and outside areas set in the grounds of Petworth National Trust House. You can access the Battery House & Servants Quarters via the Petworth House Car Park or through the House if you are visiting the whole grounds - or if you are coming from Petworth Town off of North Street where there will be a temporary Zebra Crossing leading you directly to the Battery House - all will be wheelchair, buggy and dog friendly.

Art
British sea and wildlife illustrated on reclaimed wood, each work is hand painted so that it is original and unique. I also develop sketches and watercolours to make digital images that can be used on items such as prints, tea towels, chopping boards and cards all of which are available. We prefer direct messaging and Commissions are welcomed.

Annabelle Hulewicz

Cermaics
Annabelle makes one-off thrown ceramic works often with hand decorated elements. Her work ranges from functional but unique homewares to larger bespoke art pieces. The surface textures on her collections are inspired by epiphytic plants such as moss, fungi and lichen.

Children's Clothes

Our Spring/Summer 2024 collection was inspired by a secret walled garden with wildflowers growing through the cracks. Children exploring overgrown flowerbeds and picking fruit from the greenhouse.

Hand block printed florals on lightweight organic cotton blouses and shorts, paired with hand knitted lace stitch cardigans. Handwoven stripes have been delicately overlaid with a hand embroidered climbing floral design.
Our ‘French Check’ handwoven fabric came from a vintage 1940’s French chore dress and the embroidery on the Firle Dress was inspired by 18th Century Spitalfields brocade designs.

Sizes range from 0-4 years.

Bianca Williams Design, Seasonal Textiles, Homewares and Gifts inspired by Nature, designed, printed, handmade and packaged in the UK. Bianca creates her designs using a mixture of both traditional and modern techniques to create her unique range of floral prints, which start out life as original painted and collaged artwork. These patterns are then printed using eco-friendly inks here in the UK. She is looking forward to bringing her new range of Spring Patterns to the Petworth Festival.

I use a variety of art mediums to create my art work including oils, coloured pencils, watercolour paint as well as resin and Jesmonite. I will have original art works, cards, mugs, coasters, resin trays, cushions and Jesmonite items available to purchase.
